History
A branch was opened in Kobe in 1917 as a buying agency for Japanese goods for Harrisons and Crosfield and its subsidiary companies. In 1923 Harrisons and Crosfield acquired Davis and Company. Davis and Company's former partners, W. Lane and W Jarmain ran the branch's "D" department separately. A new company, Harrisons, Davis and Co was formed in 1926.
