Manuscript relating to the Union of England and Scotland, entitled 'Answers to ye 14 Queries', being a reply to [J Ballantyne's] 'Some queries proposed to consideration relative to the Union now intended'. The 'Queries...relative to the Union..." are in fact arguments against it; the writer of the "Answers" (apparently a Scot) points out the fallacies in these arguments and supports the proposed Union.
