Correspondence with Andrew Salkey, writer and broadcaster. Letters date from prior to Andrew Salkey leaving England to take up a professorship at Amherst College in North America. His continued involvement in the development of Bogle L'Ouverture was achieved through regular correspondence with Eric, Accabre and Jessica Huntley. He helped to create and maintain links to literary organisations and individuals in the States, the Caribbean and South America. The letters offer, advice, encouragement and information.

The series includes five dated and numbered files. Many of the letters are informal and friendly. Personal and current political issues of the day are commented on as are management, marketing and strategic planning for the development of Bogle-L'Ouverture.

This archive comprises the records of Saint Thomas' Hospital, the Grosvenor Hospital, the General Lying-In Hospital, the Lambeth Hospital and the Royal Waterloo Hospital, 1551-2008. It also includes the records of institutions which were associated with these hospitals, including the Kirchner Convalescent Home, the Babies Hospital, the Medical School, Saint Thomas' Church and parish, the Physiotherapy School, Saint John's House, Saint John's and Saint Thomas' House, Saint Thomas' House and Saint Thomas' Home.

In addition, this includes the Nightingale Training School and documents, which form part of the Nightingale Collection. The remainder of this collection is maintained by the Florence Nightingale Museum Trust.

The records include those generated by the administration of the various institutions which made up the Saint Thomas' Hospital Group, in addition to a variety of patients' and clinical records. There are also visual sources such as photographs and prints and some printed and bibliographic items.

Records of the London Stone District Visiting Society, 1830-1854, 2 volumes: This was a charitable society for visiting families and distributing religious tracts, and also linen, bread, coal etc. Little is known about the society. An undated (but ca.1830s or 1840s) printed notice bound into Ms 3367 gives the secretary's name as J. C. Bowles and indicates that the society was run by a committee which met at 16 Walbrook. The records of the society were deposited with the records of the parish of St Swithin London Stone in 1938 and catalogued shortly afterwards by a member of Guildhall Library staff. They comprise a cash book 1830-54 (P69/SWI/D/02/MS03366) and a summary of visits and payments made 1831-43 (P69/SWI/D/03/MS03367).
