Bound typewritten journal subtitled 'The trivial record of a journey taken in 1934 by way of Nürnberg, Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Cracow and the free city of Danzig with 94 illustrations'.

Stafford's journal gives detailed impressions of his first flight, the places that he and his wife visited in Central Europe, the people they met, as well as occasionally giving his opinions on the political situation. He writes that 'we packed more into twenty-four days than our elders would advise'. The journal includes 94 photographs taken using a 2A folding Brownie camera.

Documentation of conference proceedings include schedules and printed literature and, in some cases, transcripts of papers delivered. Conferences covered include DATER (1991), ICED'81 (1981), and Culture.Space.History (Middle East Technical University, 1990). Teaching materials include a wide range of lectures from the 1960s to the 1990s, arranged by audience/institution, or subject. The archive also includes a series of VHS videos, prepared for the Indian Institute of Technology (n.d.). The 'hospital bed' project is represented through various tangential papers in different sections of the archive.

It most notably includes two original letters from Reichsführer SS, Himmler (1144/1/14-/23); an incomplete set of an in-house information sheet providing instructions to SS members on a variety of matters such as dress protocol for visits to concentration camps by SS members (1144/2/4); qualification for wearing the 'Death's Head' ring of the SS (1144/2/2); and orders forbidding membership of clubs deemed inappropriate.
