Illustrated report on the work of the Russkoe Studencheskoe Khristianskoe Dvizhenie za Rubezhom [Russian Student Christian Movement outside Russia] in the Baltic States 1929-1930, with a memoranda on the work of the Movement in Europe and another on its work in France, October and Novemember 1930. The report comprises 14 pages of photographs of meetings in Latvia and Estonia, with detailed explanations in English. A letter from A Nikitin, from the office of the Movement in Paris, to Major W Tudor Pole, London, dated 7 March 1931, is enclosed with the report and explains that Nikitin was author of the memoranda. He suggested that the report be shown to Sir Bernard Pares and then returned to Paris, the latter request was clearly not compiled with.

Manuscript volume containing a draft of a petition of the inhabitants of Russell Street, London, 'whose houses were burnt and blowne up and that lost their goods by the late fire that began in the Theatre Royal' to the Justices of the Peace at Hicks Hall, 1672. The document also contains a list of the men appointed to examine the petitioners, and a list of the petitioners and the value of their losses in goods and property.

Collection of autograph letters, 1756-1849, brought together by Lord Odo Russell. The correspondents are mainly European scientists, including Nikolaus Joseph and his son Joseph Franz Freiherr von Jacquin, both Professor of Chemistry and Botany at Vienna University; the zoologist Leopold Joseph Franz Johann Fitzinger; and the botanist István Laszló Endlicher. The letters concern the natural sciences, the medical sciences, the physical sciences, the arts, theology, dealers, diplomats and statesmen, and others. There is also a note from Beethoven (post 1824) and a letter from Goethe (1807).
