Vicky Abrams's personal collection comprises the bulk of the total papers and notably contains a Vienna University report book, 1925 (1031/1/1); references from Abrams employer Das Magazin, 1933 (1031/1/2-3); Gestapo protective custody order, 8 August 1938 (1031/1/7); release permit from KZ Lichtenburg, Pretin, Saxony,13 March 1939 (1031/1/8). The collection also includes photographs including portraits of Abrams taken in KZ Lichtenburg (1031/1/15); correspondence from Abrams to her family in Vienna, written from prison [mostly KZ Lichtenburg]; correspondence between Vicky Abrams and the following former comrades and authors of articles about Neu Beginnen: Georg Müller, Helga Lichtenecker, Henry Hellmann, Ernst Lowe, Rainer Sandvoss, Otto Sperling and Richard Loewenthal (Rix). Manuscript relating to Alorna's imprisonment in the Fortress of Junqueira, Portugal, 1758-1777, on charges of attempted regicide, entitled 'Relação do que contremo Forte da Junqueira, e do que nelle passaram os presos, sieita pelo Marquês da Alorna'. Subsequently published posthumously as Relação dos presos do forte da Junqueira by Almeida (published for José de Sousa Amado, Lisbon, 1857).

Two files of correspondence mostly concerning Aleksandr Valentinovich Amfiteatrov's membership of the anti-Soviet secret society, Bratstvo Russkoi Pravdy [Brotherhood of Truth], 1927-1936. The letters are from the society's leader, Sergei Alexandrovich Krechetov and another member known only as "Izyumets". The box also contains a typescript article giving background and commentary to the collection.

Photograph albums of Natalia Sergeevna Cheremtevskaia (later Countess Brasova), depicting her life with Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich during the early years of their life together 1909-1913. Most of the albums date from before their marriage in 1912 and contain informal photographs of the Grand Duke and Brasova and their family and friends. Some of the photographs were taken during the couple's European travels.

Papers created by Alfred Claude Bromhead during his time in Russia, 1916-1917, and a varied collection of miscellany compiled by him, with items dating from 1510 to the 1930s. These include a contemporary illustration of the funeral procession of Anne of Cleves in 1557 and a collection of engravings of the life of the Virgin by Alberto Durer from 1510. There are also volumes of sketches of London and letters and newspaper cuttings, the subjects of which include the history of London, criminology and The Gentlemen's Magazine.

The documents include letters on the family's expenses, sales, marriage, appointments to offices, a genealogy of the family and a printed fragment announcing a requiem mass. Also contains an inventory of items, made by the Archives Générales de la Noblesse, Paris.

The bulk of this microfilm collection consists of material emanating from the Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF), 1933-1939. Included are documents marked 'secret' which record the prevailing views within the Deutsche Arbeitsfront on the extent of industrial action in the Third Reich and other issues relating to industrial relations. There is also a considerable amount of correspondence from the DAF to the company Wilhem Edel, margarine manufacturers, covering a variety of matters related to worker/employee relations. In addition there are number of publications and periodicals on the subject.
