Account book for the Little St Helen's Independent Church.

Records of Sion College, a society of Anglican clergy. The majority of the collection dates from 1631, with deeds from 1611. The records of the Cripplegate Schools Foundation comprise minutes 1905-69 (Ms 6473-A, 35827); agendas 1915, 1929-32 (Ms 6473B) and financial records 1906-76 (Ms 20089, 35828-9). Ms 20087 includes particulars of the Foundation's constitution with list of meetings c 1951.

Records of the Red Cross Street Boys' School comprise a history of its foundation 1690-1749, which includes a list of pupils 1707-48 (Ms 75A); minutes 1809-1905 and agendas 1842-65 (Mss 6475-6); logbooks 1877-1904 (Ms 6477) and treasurers' accounts 1714-1868 (Ms 7029).

Records of Lady Holles School comprise minutes 1726-1904 (Mss 6473-4), treasurers' ledger and accounts 1710-1803, 1844-79 (Mss 10885, 20082-3). There are also some references to this school in Ms 75A. Mss 9412-3 comprise records relating to properties held by the trustees of the two schools, 1727-1853.

Records of Cornhill, Lime Street and Langbourn Wards Schools, comprising girls admission register and log books.

The only surviving records of Langbourn Ward School are trustees' minutes from 1738 and a set of rules.

Records of Tower Ward School, comprising trustees' minute books; Ladies' Committee minute books and boys' attendance register.

The records of St Dunstan's Educational Foundation are those of the office shared with the Cass Foundation (including minutes, accounts and some details of scholarships and exhibitions) and some estate records. The latter include registers of leases of the parish estate from 1581 (Ms 31258).

Papers collected by the antiquary George Scott. Records of the Dean and Chapter of Saint Paul's Cathedral, London, including Royal charters, originals and copies, 11th-17th centuries (CLC/313/A/001/MS25241/001-084). The earliest surviving royal charter, by William II, dates from 1099/1100 (CLC/313/A/001/MS25241/004). Other records include a charter roll, probably compiled during the late 13th century, recording royal writs granted to the Cathedral; and a conge d'elire from George III to the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's Cathedral, 1764.

• "Liber L", a cartulary and statute book (original press mark WD4, now CLC/313/B/001/MS25504), early 12th-early 14th centuries, containing inter alia: copies of charters from the reign of Ethelbert (860-6) onwards; manorial inquisitions (see also section CLC/313/L, including CLC/313/L/E-G) and visitations within the cathedral's Peculiar jurisdiction (see also section CLC/313/K/B), 11th -14th centuries; and cathedral statutes, (?)13th century. "Liber L" has been calendared, with extensive extracts edited, by Maxwell Lyte (HMC Ninth Report). See Davis, Medieval Cartularies, no.596. • "Liber A, sive Pilosus", cartulary (press mark WD1, now CLC/313/B/012/MS25501), 1241-1340, with additional entry 1505-1550, containing copies of charters from the reign of Edward the Confessor (1042-66) onwards relating to cathedral property, rights and privileges in the City of London, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Essex, Middlesex, Surrey, Warwickshire and Wiltshire. His compilation, from the volumes described above (except for MS25501, WD1) includes statutes by Ralph de Diceto (Dean, 118 0-ca. 1200), William de Montfort (Dean, 1285-94), Ralph de Baldock (Dean, 1294-1304 and Bishop of London, 1304-13), Stephen de Gravesend (Bishop, 1318-38), Robert Braybrooke (Bishop, 1381-1404) and William Warham (Bishop, 1501-3); Sparrow Simpson's Registrum also includes extracts from CLC/313/B/034/MS25506 (WD6), ca. 1611-ca. 1613; CLC/313/B/033/MS25510 (WD10), 1502; and CLC/313/B/027/MS25624 (WC39), a transcript made in 1874 of Ms 25520.

Records of the College of Minor Canons, Saint Paul's Cathedral. The records comprise: charters and statutes, 1394-1640 (Ms 29410-19); minutes, 1760-1981 (Ms 29420); correspondence, 1966-82 (Ms 29424), accounts, 1722-1958 (Ms 29425-9); title deeds, 1246-1896 (Ms 19932-41, 29430-1, 29440); registers of estates, 1609-1874 (Ms 19859, 29432-3), and miscellaneous papers, 1663-1903 (Ms 29421-3, 29434-9, 30571-4). The covering dates given for the whole collection (1394-1982) are the dates of compilation. These records have been catalogued by various members of staff over many years.

The records are freely available for research with the exception of the minute book from 1872 (Ms 29420/5) and some recent papers (Ms 29424) both of which can only be examined with written permission from the Warden of the College for the time being.
