Archives of the Corporation of Foreign Bondholders, consisting mainly of a series of correspondence files. Each series has a number and each item within the file has a running number. Within the files, cross references have sometimes been made to particular items in a different series, which can be identified by the unique number. The numbering system reveals that many of the earlier files from the series have been lost. The whereabouts of these earlier files are not known.

The main series of correspondence for each subject is referred to as "official correspondence". Often this main correspondence series was later divided into separate files, such as files for correspondence with bondholders or relating to statistics. The correspondence files can also contain copies of agreements, press releases and other related items.

Archives of the Madeira wine merchants Cossart, Gordon and Company. They relate both to its domestic business in Madeira and to its international operations, including its relations with customers and agents in the British Isles, continental Europe, the United States, the West Indies and (from c 1780) India and the Far East.

The documents are chiefly unbound business papers (in bundles, some original) and mostly dated between 1754 and 1898, together with a few family papers from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and photocopies of items removed for sale in the late 20th century.

The records comprise correspondence and financial material, including some relating to the subsidary businesses in Spain, Chile and Peru.

The monumental inscriptions and armorial bearings in the churches within the City of London, a five volume work by Arthur Jewers, compiled for the Library Committee of the City of London, 1910-1919. Includes transcripts of monumental and other inscriptions in the churches, with drawings (many coloured) of armorial bearings, and extracts from wills and other genealogical notes about the persons and families commemorated.
