One was compiled by the headmistress Miss Lefroy and contains handwritten entries. There are also photograph albums showing the school, teachers and pupils. There are also numerous examples of artwork by the pupils mostly in the form of programmes for music, drama and sports events held at the school.

The collection consists of administrative papers of the Wandsworth District Board of Works. These include several duplicate runs of Minutes of Proceedings for the Board's meetings, as well as minutes of the Finance Committee. There are also Annual Reports and Reports of the Sanitary Inspector. The bulk of the collection is made up of agendas and supporting papers collected to be used at the Board's fortnightly meetings. These papers include letters of complaint and petitions from the public, planning approvals and refusals for new buildings, roads and sewers, correspondence from other Vestries, copies of Accounts, lists of Board members, copies of Reports from Board Inspectors, copies of Bills of Parliament and many other administrative papers. There are numerous papers regarding the expansion of the railways and the introduction and expansion of the tramways.

This collection includes records of: the Battersea Parish Vestry; the Battersea Parish Overseers of the Poor; the Battersea Workhouse, 1744-1835; the parish Churchwardens; Battersea Lammas Hall; the parish Surveyor of Highways; various charities within the parish; and other records relating to the civil administration of the parish.

Many of the deeds relate to these purchases of the main estate. Others relate to additional purchases, each with their supporting title deeds of earlier date referring to previous owners. There is a series of numbers pencilled on the majority of these later deeds, and this order has been strictly maintained in this list. The following groups of deeds were tied in bundles: D1/16-29, D1/34-50, D1/52-55, D1/56-65. There are admissions and surrenders relating to property in the manor of Battersea and Wandsworth.

Florence Turtle Collection

The collection is mostly comprised of diaries written by Florence Turtle between 1917 and 1980. The first three diaries (1917-1919) contain generally brief and sporadic entries. There are then no diaries for the years 1920-1928. From 1929 onwards the diaries contain more detailed entries. There are no diaries for the years 1944, 1946, 1948-1949, 1952-1954, 1962, 1964-1965, or 1967-1970. Florence writes in her diaries about her relationships with family and friends, her living situation, work life, social life, holidays, and local, national and international current events, and records her thoughts and feelings on various matters. Many of the diaries contain additional notes, clarifications and corrections made by Florence in the 1970s. Some of the diaries contain photographs, and also pencil illustrations by Florence. The collection also contains one volume in which Florence reviews the books she reads throughout 1936, and a volume entitled 'Book of Ideas', in which Florence has written quotations from various sources, and also glued newspaper cuttings. The remaining items in the collection are a set of photographs of Florence's family and friends, and a framed certificate of election to the Buyers Association of Great Britain.
