This collection is an example of the way in which the Nazis forcibly appropriated Jewish property under the guise of a legitimate transaction into which both parties freely entered.

Infamous legal cases such as the obscenity trials in the 1960s relating to 'Oz' magazine and Hubert Selby's novel 'Last Exit to Brooklyn' are discussed.
