The collection, 1835-1850, contains letters and printed papers, notices and unpublished printed material, which Airy received during his time as a member of the Senate of the University of London. The Airy correspondence has a special importance because much of the early archival material of the University of London was destroyed and so often the only record of its activities is in the Senate and Committee Minutes. Airy was particularly interested in the constitution of the University, the developments of the mathematics syllabus, the syllabuses for certificates in hydrography and civil engineering and the introduction of the religious examination.

Papers of Alfred Pollard, 1884-1948, including contains personal correspondence from Alfred Pollard, primarily to his parents and his secretary, E. J. Davis (1884-1925, 9 boxes). There are also letters from Pollard's father, Henry, primarily to his son (1885-1924, 4 boxes). These letters give a valuable insight into the development of Alfred's historical and political opinions as well as providing an account of domestic circumstances in the Pollard family. The remainder of the papers relate to Alfred's academic and University of London activities. These papers contain correspondence and printed items, and span the length of his academic life. Correspondence and papers of Bellot. The papers represent and illustrate the activities of Bellot's academic life as well as his personal one. There are letters to his family describing his schooldays at Bedales School up to his involvement with University College, Ibadan and his appointment to the Vice Chancellorship of the University of London.

The papers can be divided into three series: papers relating to his involvement in teaching and governance at the University of London, his personal papers that document his relationship with his fellow historians and his family; and papers created in the process of his historical research.

The official papers include case-files relating to: academic policy, University College, Ibadan, Westfield College, Senate committees, Board of Study in History at the University of London, Higher Education in Africa, and Library Policy.

This collection relating to Whitelands College consists of minutes of meetings from 1966-1970, as well a copy of the annual report for 1966-1967, and two students handbooks.

The collection is comprised of two parts. The first contains records relating to the administration of the school, such as a series of pupil records cards, accounts, staff handbooks and other material, as well as copies of the school magazine and Old Girls Association newsletters. The second part of the collection contains material belonging to a former pupil Eleanor Roberts, who attended the school between 1928-1936. The records include her school exercise books and diaries.

The collection consists of records and photographs relating to Wandsworth School. The administrative records consist of punishment books, copies of the school rules, lists of prefects, and registers of staff absence. The photographs consist of images of the staff, sports teams, and school trips. There is an extensive collection of letters from old boys and their families written to the headmaster Mr King during World War Two providing information on casualties, career progressions, and involvement in the armed forces.

The collection is made up of papers belonging to the second headmaster of the school W.V. Wallace and his wife who also taught at the school. The papers include correspondence with the parents, a visitors book, exercise books and other material produced by the students, school newsletters and magazine, as well as papers and letters relating to the closure of the school in 1986. There is also a significant amount of photographs from the 1960s onwards showing various school events such as sports days, concerts, plays and other events.
