The Bindloss family papers consist almost entirely of family letters and memorabilia of Reverend Edward Bindloss, his wife Maria Mathilda Bindloss, and Arthur Henry Bindloss. These include many letters from Russia, but little concerning Edward Bindloss' work as an Anglican chaplain.

These family papers relate to trusts established by Henry Butterworth (d 1847) and bequests by his son, Henry (1786-1860).

The records consist mainly of financial records such as customer account books, ledgers, journals and cost books. The letter book of 1797-1808 (B/TRL/9) is of special interest to students of wall paper and interior decoration history. The detailed account books for Trollope and Colls Ltd illustrate the work of a major building firm with a great influence on the London skyline.

The David Heneker Archive contains the working papers of musical theatre composer David Heneker, who wrote or contributed to several well known musicals incluing 'Half a Sixpence' and 'Charlie Girl'. The Archive contains materials relating to each of the shows David Heneker worked on including drafts of songs and scripts, musicals scores, correspondence and publicity. There is also material relating to his work as a songwriter in the 1930s and 1940s (including the Second World War), and his work for films and advertising. There are also materials relating to shows and films that David Heneker worked on that never reached the final production stage.

This series contains details of passes for London Passenger Transport Board travel, including the issue of passes for trade union representatives and Metropolitan and City Police Officers, people training with the armed services, adopted children, staff and dependents as well as the use of privilege tickets for the main line railways such as concessions for staff travelling to the coast.
