Letter from John Minter Morgan of 8 Pembroke Street, Cambridge to Rev Professor Adam Sedgwick, 24 Jun 1845. Covering letter (on mourning paper) to a copy of Morgan's The Christian Commonwealth. Recalling a meeting of the British Association [for the Advancement of Science] at which Sedgwick 'expressed a hope that we should not confine our attention to the advancement of science but also direct its most beneficial application'.
