Correspondence and papers of Stella Alexander on religion in Yugoslavia, 1962-1989, comprising:
Commentaries and off prints re Yugoslav legislation on religion;
Correspondence with and relating to Milovan and Stefica Djilas; notes and recollections of Milovan Djilas. He was a close ally of Marshall Tito during the pre and Second World War period but was later estranged and expelled from the Communist Party;
papers on Father Krunoslav Draganovic, who had been a senior official of the Ustasha committee that handled the forced conversion of the Serbs. In 1943, the Ustasha arranged with the Church for Draganovic to be sent to Rome. There he served at a seminary of Croatian monks that was in fact a centre of clandestine Ustasha activity.
