The Barbados Workers' Union is a general workers union and was registered on 4th October 1941. It has a membership of 25,000 persons covering all areas of employment in Barbados.
The source of acquisition by ICS is not known.
Photocopies of agreements between the Sugar Producers' Federation of Barbados and the Barbados Workers' Union on wages of plantation and factory workers in the sugar industry, 1952-1962.
