Imperial War Museum holds microfilm of papers relating to his career, 1899-1949, (Ref: PP/MCR/95) including midshipman logbooks 1899-1902, diary relating to his service in the Dardenelles, 1915, report of Peace and War Complements Committee 1935-1936, diary relating to Spanish Civil War, 1936, reports of Second Bucknill Committee relating to loss of HMS PRINCE OF WALES and HMS ARK ROYAL, 1941-1942, diaries relating his service in Shetland and Orkney Islands, 1939-1941. Liddle Collection, Leeds University also holds papers relating to his career, including two pre-World War One logbooks, two copies of the diary of HMS ELIZABETH, 1915 and papers and maps relating to the Dardenelles operations and gunnery, 1915.
