Includes frank assessment of the military situation at Gallipolli with severe criticism of General Sir Ian Standish Monteith Hamilton, Lieutenant General Sir Aylmer Gould Hunter-Weston and Major General Sir William Douglas; description of landings and attacks carried out between 4 June and 7 August 1915 and evaluation of the Turkish forces.
