These tapes were recorded by Dr Neil Morgan while he was the holder of a Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowship doing research on the development of biochemistry in Britain as a distinct scientific discipline. The tapes were transcribed by the Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine.
Tape recordings of interviews with the Biochemistry Society, on Albert Chibnall's life and work and the development of biochemistry in Britain, with transcripts, 1983-1984.
The papers are available subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking.
Photocopies/photographs/microfilm are supplied for private research only at the Archivist's discretion. Please note that material may be unsuitable for copying on conservation grounds, and that photographs cannot be photocopied in any circumstances.
