Churchill and Sim Limited, wood brokers, was founded on the partnership of Charles Churchill and John Sim in 1813. Both were sworn brokers and members of the Patten Makers' Company. The firm had premises successively at Bucklersbury, Old Broad Street and Clements Lane.

The records were deposited at Guildhall Library by Churchill and Sim in 1964. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.

Records of wood brokers Churchill and Sim Limited, primarily diaires kept by Charles Churchill senior (1785-1844), and Charles Churchill junior (1823-1905), but also a letter book. The entries in the diaries relate to the timber trade, City politics and private affairs.
