General files on a variety of subjects including inspection of weights and measures, ward divisions, parish boundaries, elections and electoral divisions, finance, the County Architect, licensing, refuse disposal and gravel pits, the registration of births, deaths and marriages, Alexandra Palace, building projects and architectural services, Hogarth House, ceremonies, ancient monuments, exhibitions, town twinning, local valuation panels, purchase of motor vehicles for use by staff, the Public Control department, policy and functions of the Supplies Committee, appointment of coroners, local authority boundaries, airports, health services, gas supply, County Council seal and coat of arms, light railways and tramways, plans of Mogden sewer works and maps of Local Board areas.
