Barbara Constance Freeman collection, 1902-1989, comprises books, sketchbooks, illustrations, photographs, a diary, letters and an audio tape containing a BBC interview with Freeman. Sketchbooks contain pencil drawings including people and animals and the collection also contains notebooks comprising notes on architecture used whilst studying at Kingston School of Art. The collection contains certificates awarded to Freeman and Mary Freeman (possibly her aunt) including Barbara's certificate for passing an examination in drawing, 1926; correspondence including a letter from Ernest Kyle, 1929 and a testimonial requested by Freeman discussing her achievements at Kingston School of Art.

The David Heneker Archive contains the working papers of musical theatre composer David Heneker, who wrote or contributed to several well known musicals incluing 'Half a Sixpence' and 'Charlie Girl'. The Archive contains materials relating to each of the shows David Heneker worked on including drafts of songs and scripts, musicals scores, correspondence and publicity. There is also material relating to his work as a songwriter in the 1930s and 1940s (including the Second World War), and his work for films and advertising. There are also materials relating to shows and films that David Heneker worked on that never reached the final production stage.

Manuscript volume entitled 'Messis Accademica, a Liborio Nicomede Comite Cini collecta', containing a collection of orations in Latin and Italian, including those made at the funeral of Joseph I in 1711 and the coronation of Charles VI in 1712 delivered by Clorindo Erimantico ('peregrino arcadie pastore'), orations made on the birthday of Charles VI and, headed 'Mysterium Magnum', for Leopold, Archduke of Austria, on 13 Apr 1716, and funeral orations for members of the imperial family. A number of the orations begin with an 'Expositio' followed by a 'Iudicium', and take as their text propositions of [Gottfried Wilhelm von] Leibnitz, [Rudolf] Count of Rabatta, and Count [Johann] Cobenzl. All the orations except those for Joseph I, the coronation of Charles VI and Archduke Leopold, include 'Epigrammata Extemporanea'.

Papers of Henry Thring, 1st Baron Thring, relating to the establishment and constitution of the Royal College of Music (RCM), 1877-1883, mostly comprising correspondence of Thring (mainly his office copies) and members of the Committee of Management of the National Training School for Music, Prince Christian's Executive Committee of the Royal and National College of Music and the Council of the RCM, particularly in regard to the drafting and granting of the royal charter to the RCM, with manuscript and printed drafts of the charter of the RCM and regulations of the RCM.
