This manuscript was bought from Bernard Halliday in Oct 1906 as an addition to the Goldsmith's Library of Economic Literature, initially collected by Herbert Somerton Foxwell and presented by the Goldsmith's Company to the University of London in 1903.
Manuscript volume containing lists of unoccupied mercantile houses in Dublin, 1843-1844, namely a memoranda giving some formerly eminent mercantile concerns in Dublin, 8 Mar 1843, and comments on the state of Dublin as ascertained by inspection, 30 Jan 1844.

Access to the items in the collection is unrestricted for the purpose of private study and personal research within the controlled environment and restrictions of the Library's Palaeography Room.
