The Masonic Lodge was founded in 1905 as number 3116, and was based at Keyser's Hotel on Victoria Embankment or Mansion House. From 1930s it was based at Mansion House and Guildhall. Since 1905 over 70 Lord Mayors have been Masters of the Lodge.

The Masonic Lodge was founded in 1905 as number 3116, and was based at Keyser's Hotel on Victoria Embankment or Mansion House. From 1930s it was based at Mansion House and Guildhall. Since 1905 over 70 Lord Mayors have been Masters of the Lodge.
The records were deposited at Guildhall Library by the Lodge in 2008. They were catalogued by a member of the Manuscripts Section of Guildhall Library. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
