These files were received as a gift from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where Fulton had been Professor of Virology, in September 1994. According to information received from the LSHTM, many of his papers were taken by the relevant Government Department after his death since they were said to be covered by the Official Secrets Act: it is possible that he was involved with research connected to biological warfare.
Papers of Forrest Fulton including records of work during Second World War on typhus and marasmus; teaching files for Diploma of Bacteriology and other courses at the LSHTM, material on research and administration, published and unpublished writings, 1950s-1960s.
