Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) was a Tuscan (Italian) physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher.

Archival history

Much of this material comes from the collection of Count Paolo Galletti [ -1914], where it formed part of his Galileo Museum at his villa at Arcetri, called the 'Torre del Gallo'.
