Jesse Robert Garrood MD, DPH (1874-1959), was a general practitioner in Alconbury Hill, Huntingdonshire, 1899-1958. He was Medical Officer of Health, Huntingdon Rural District, 1924-1958, and Public Vaccinator of Alconbury, Sawtry and The Giddings District.

Jesse Robert Garrood MD, DPH (1874-1959), was a general practitioner in Alconbury Hill, Huntingdonshire, 1899-1958. He was Medical Officer of Health, Huntingdon Rural District, 1924-1958, and Public Vaccinator of Alconbury, Sawtry and The Giddings District.

The vaccinator's register was passed to the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre by the Wellcome Institute Library Modern Medicine Collection, November 1989. The other items were transferred to the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre in September 1997 by the Royal College of General Practitioners, which had received them prior to 1983, from Dr Garrood and possibly others.
