This collection of Gimbert family papers dates from 1838 to 1992, covering four generations, and consists mainly of personal records of family members. It includes an apprenticeship deed from 1838 (see ACC/3094/002), some army records, some nineteenth and early twentieth century family photographs and the genealogical notes kept by various family members through the years.
