The club met in Hoxton, but its membership included many City figures. It was wound up in 1880.
These volumes were donated to Guildhall Library in 1902 and were subsequently catalogued by a member of Guildhall Library staff. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
