The bound volume of photocopies of annual reports was received from Dr Norman Simmons of Guy's Hospital Bacteriological Department in 1991: the originals are housed in the London Metropolitan Archives, having been discovered in the Department of Clinical Bacteriology at Guy's in 1989. Several copies were made by Dr Simmons and presented to various libraries. An additional accession was received via the Royal College of Pathologists in June 1999. This consisted of two workbooks in Dr Simmons' possession of records of medical supplies purchased over the period 1918-1934, kept by a technician in his department. They appear to be part of a longer alphabetical sequence of which one or two subsequent volumes are missing.
