The Hammersmith Circuit was constituted in 1969 by the union of Askew Road Church and Old Oak Church, both of which had formerly belonged to the Bayswater Circuit, Munster Park Church from the Wandsworth and Fulham Circuit, and Rivercourt Church and Shepherds Bush Road Church, which had previously formed the Rivercourt and Shepherds Bush Road Circuit.

Deposited at Hammersmith and Fulham Archives and Local Studies in accordance with the Methodist Conference Standing Order 258(4) in 1973.

Transferred from Hammersmith and Fulham Archives and Local History Centre in 2015.

Records of Hammersmith Methodist Circuit including records of circuits succeeded by the Hammersmith Circuit in 1969 and of constituent chapels.

Arranged in two sections as follows:

DD/0370/01: Records of Hammersmith Circuit and predecessor circuits

DD/0370/02: Records of constituent chapels

Records relating to events that took place less than 60 years ago may not be seen by members of the public without the permission of the Superintendent of the Hammersmith Circuit.
