Holy Trinity was begun in 1834, financed partly by the Church Building Commissioners and partly by local residents. In 1836 money could not be found to complete the project and it was sold to the Metropolitan Church Building Fund, who finished the building. It was consecrated in 1839.

Records deposited 11 January 1965; with further deposits in 1997.

Records of the parish of Holy Trinity, Morgan Street, Mile End Old Town, including registers of baptisms, marriages and banns; registers of church services and minutes of the Parochial Church Council.

The records have been sorted into categories which reflect divisions between the different functions and operations of the parish and its administration. Order within these categories reflects chronology.
