These volumes were given to the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre by Dr A L T Beddoe, via Dr Arnold Mayes in September 1994 (vols 1-2), and by Dr Mayes in October 1994 (vols 3-7), as a result of an appeal for general practice records by Dr Michael Bevan of the Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine, Oxford.

Records of Horfield Health Centre including Midwifery register, 1954-1962, and visits diaries, 1963, 1979-1983.

The papers are available subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking.
