The writer, Rosa Louise Hunt, describes her service with the Voluntary Aid Detachment from 25 Nov 1915 until 5 Mar 1916, in Malta, beginning with the news that she was being posted to a military hospital abroad, but breaking off abruptly while she was still in Malta.

This volume was purchased by the Wellcome Institute Library in 1971, and transferred to the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre in 1980.

The papers are available subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking.
