Woolly Al Walks the Kitty Back collection comprises transcripts of interviews and videotapes relating to the making of the BBC Timewatch programme, Woolly Al walks the Kitty Back, produced by Brian Lapping Associates Ltd.

Includes interviews with leading British and Argentinian political figures, as well as diplomatic figures from the United Nations. The interviews relate to the Falklands War and issues leading up to and following the immediate conflict.

The original system of arrangement has been maintained: Section One: Transcripts of interviews with leading political figures, the programme script and closed research files; Section Two: VHS video cassettes of the final broadcast programmes.

Mainly open; some items closed

Most items can be photocopied, subject to handling and copyright restrictions. No material may be published without the prior permission of both the copyright holder and the Library. All applications for publication must be made to the Archivist in the first instance, but responsibility for ensuring copyright clearance rests with the user.
