Papers of Sophia Weitzman, comprising lecture notes, mainly about the history of English education in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, drafts and some printed material about the teaching of history c1937-1960s.

Correspondence, publications and press cuttings, 1959-1987, collected by Roger Virgoe, relating largely to the University of Khartoum and the political situation in the Sudan in the 1960s. Letters from colleagues and staff at the University describe the lead up to and events of the demonstrations in 1964. Publications include copies of the University of Khartoum Bulletin (1961-1964), reports on educational policy and reform (from 1959), and material relating to Sudanese history and antiquities (including a publication by A. J. Arkell).

Papers relating to student unrest at the University of Transkei (UNITRA), South Africa, 1984, triggered by the questioning of four students, and the detention of two others by security police; this led to the boycotting of classes and closures of the campus. Many students were arrested and detained, several members of the Students' Representative Council were suspended by the University and four members of staff were deported from Tramnskei. The papers include documents produced by the Principal and other members of the University administration and the Students' Representative Council, during the period of unrest; legal papers concerning court action brought by suspended students; submissions to the ensuing Commission of Enquiry; and news cuttings relating to student unrest, 1980-1984.

The UCL College Archives are comprised of material charting the history of the university, from its establishment in 1826 to the present day. Most of the collection consists of material created in the day-to-day running of the institution and includes records such as foundation deeds and papers, committee minutes, administrative correspondence, department records and reports, early student society/association papers, staff and student files, building plans and maps, artwork and photographs.

Ephemera collected from the student anti-cuts and tuition fees demonstration in London. This collection includes notebooks from early in Stott's career, [1940-1959], and a collection of Stott's published papers, 1950s-1970s. The notebooks comprise a numbered series of 25 notebooks mainly containing notes on diverse topics from a wide range of authors, with a subject index compiled by Stott himself; a notebook entitled 'lecture notes' on statistical method and one on 'statistical formulae'.

The papers of William Lishman, [1980-1997], comprising material relating to 3rd edition of Organic Psychiatry, an interview with Lishman and papers relating to a training pack on neuropsychiatry. The collection includes inserts, galley proofs and a copy of the 2nd edition of Organic Psychiatry all used in Lishman's rewriting for the 3rd edition of Organic Psychiatry, published in 1997 with several drafts of a section on Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), the largest addition to the 3rd edition. Also includes interview with Lishman on his life and career and papers relating to the Neuropsychiatry training pack including the pack itself and papers of its writer, Dr Steven Church, relating to its creation.
