(f) Whether owner of a Car/Cycle, or any motor vehicle. (g) Telephone Number (Home or business). (h) Age, (or date of birth). (i) Promotion in Home Guard. (j) Transfers (Regular Forces; Inter-unit; etc.) (k) Discharges (through death, or other causes). (l) Religion. (m) Resignations, (pressure of work, etc.) Other information includes, results of proficiency tests reports upon non-commissioned officers; strength states; returns of small arms; personal history sheets; lists of category, men, etc.

The records in this collection relate to the Imperial Yeomanry School from 1904 to 3 March 1931 and to the subsequent Imperial Benevolent Fund for 4 August 1931-12 December 1934. They comprise administrative and financial records, including admission registers and log books. From the names in the admission registers it can be seen that boys had not been admitted by 4 September 1925. The addresses in the register show that although the school was in Middlesex, entrance was not limited to those who lived in Middlesex.

Records of the Royal Choral Society. The archive is divided into seven sections: administrative records, including a series of individual concert files; financial records; membership records, which include attendance registers and audition files; concert records and programmes; publicity records including posters and newspaper cuttings; files of printed musical scores, arranged by piece, and including programmes for concerts featuring the work; miscellaneous records, which comprise information and programmes relating to other choirs, magazines of the society, or which include articles on the society or choral singing in general, and photographs of choir members, soloists and conductors.

Highlights of the collection include a comprehensive, although not complete, series of concert programmes from 1873-1985, including the programme for the last concert to be held in the Queen's Hall before its destruction during World War II. There are also manuscript copies of "Eryri" by Alun Hoddinott. This piece was composed for the investiture of the Prince of Wales in 1969 and the collection has a copy both of the original score, for 16 soloists, chorus and orchestra, and the revised version for baritone solo, chorus and orchestra.

Minute book of the Association for Employment of the Destitute and Truant Poor. The minute book, A/EDT/1, appears to be the first of a series from the remainder of which it has been divorced. From the papers, A/EDT/3-5, addressed to or written by E.C. Bellamy, the Secretary of the Association, it seems that his resignation was accepted in January 1869, but that he did not return the volume (and possibly others) to the Association as requested.

Records of the London County Association of Church Bell Ringers, including general committee minutes, Northern District Committee minutes and Southern District Committee minutes; Southern District financial accounts; peal books; steepleage books; annual reports; dinner menus and programmes; photograph and article about the history of the Association.

Records of the Elizabeth Newcomen School, Southwark, including minutes of the Governors of the Schools; admission registers; papers concerning Mrs Newcomen's will and a subsequent legal case between the Wardens of St. Saviour's and her godson, Thomas Lant; and the administration of the property which forms the endowment of the charity.

Records of the Society for the Relief of Persons Confined for Small Debts, including minutes; extracts of proceedings; Acts of Parliament; papers concerning J C Neild; financial accounts including legacy books, income books, general expenditure books, annual accounts and auditor's reports; papers regarding the disposal of surplus funds; bequests; press cuttings; correspondence; and histories of the Society.

The minutes contain reports of visits of inspection as well as names and numbers of prisoners assisted. A number of the papers relate to the destruction of the book containing the minutes and accounts of the Society 4 Mar 1818 to 5 Apr 1826 by John Camden Neild, treasurer 1814-1827.

Records of the County of London Territorial Army and Air Force Association. The collection comprises minutes, accounts and transcripts of association meetings and general purpose committee meetings.

Records of the Metropolitan District Nursing Association, formerly the Metropolitan Nursing Association for Providing Nurses for the Sick Poor. The records comprise: minutes and annual reports, 1873-1974 (Ms 14618-24); correspondence and reports, 1876-1974 (Ms 14625-7); agreements 1917-38 (Ms 14628-31, 14811-12); financial records, 1924-74 (Ms 14632-6, 14891-3); and staff records, 1875-1974 (Ms 14637-51). They were catalogued by members of Guildhall Library staff in 1973-4. The whereabouts of any further records is unknown.

Records of the Society of Royal Cumberland Youths, bell-ringing society, comprising: name books, 1747-1999 (Ms 21658, 33995); peal books, 1748-1989 (Ms 21659, 34393); minutes, 1887-1989 (Ms 33996), rules, 1931 (Ms 33997); and notebook of ringing methods, [1924-35?] (Ms 33998). They were catalogued by members of Guildhall Library staff between 1986 and 2006.

Some of the records were microfilmed in 1985 and Mss 21658-9 are positive copy microfilms deposited in the Library on indefinite loan by the Society which has retained the master negatives. The originals of Ms 21658 and Ms 21569/1 were deposited on 21 July 2003 (USE OF MICROFILM COMPULSORY), but the Society retains the original manuscript of Ms 21659/2. Permission to take reproductions from the films or to publish extracts from the records should be sought from the Society (enquire at the information desk for contact details).

Also deposited with the records of the Foundation were a few records relating to the London Polytechnic Council. Records comprise minutes 1894-1904 (Ms 8971). Chelsea Physic Garden records comprise minutes 1899-1936 and cash books 1903-53 (Mss 10899-900). People's Palace Theatre records comprise a cash book 1950-53 (Ms 10903).

Records of the London Committee for the Relief of the Distressed Irish including subscription books and papers 1822-3 (Mss 7440-3, 7469); general financial records 1822-4 (Mss 7444-7); Friendly Loan Society Bank accounts 1839-43 and indexes to loans 1837-43 (Mss 7448-50); letter books 1822-3 (Mss 7451-4); resolutions, some minutes and correspondence 1822-4 (Mss 7455-8); vouchers, receipts and miscellaneous papers 1822-3 (Mss 7459-64); agents' reports 1822 (Ms 7465) and reports and papers re local administration of relief, arranged by county, 1822-4 (Mss 7470-92); letters and reports of the British and Irish Ladies Association for Improving the Condition of Female Peasantry 1822-4 (Ms 7466); committee resolutions and correspondence of the Irish Peasantry Society 1822-4 (Ms 7467) and correspondence with the Irish Fishery Board 1822-3 (Ms 7468).
