Manuscript volume, 15th century, containing astronomical and religious treatises, preceded by calendar. Includes astrological treatises, prayers and Latin rhymes. At least some portions of the manuscript were written by a scribe, A D (perhaps Antonius de Meer), at Hertogenbosch in Brabant. Tables and diagrams throughout, some coloured, some with adjustable portions. Coloured ink drawing on folio 11v. Other inserts pasted in, possibly woodcut illustrations, have been removed. One entry on folio 183v is dated 1489.

Manuscript volume, 15th century, containing Bartholomew of Pisa's 'De Conformitate Vitae Sancti Francisci Ad Vitam Domini Jesu Christi' (On the conformity of the life of Saint Francis to the life of our Lord Jesus Christ) and lists of privileges etc granted to the Friars Minor (Franciscans), extracted from papal registers by Marcus Trevisanus, minister of the Roman province. The list is dated 1418 in the rubric on folio 313v.

Italian Book of Hours, c1470-1480, beginning Officium Beatae Mariae Virginis (office of the Blessed Virgin Mary). Originally 106(?) leaves, with 19th-century additions: full page colour illustrations and decorated borders, including a Crucifixion, added by Caleb W Wing.

Manuscript volume, 15th or 16th century, containing the 'Perspectiva Communis' of John Peckham, in three parts, beginning 'Inter philosophie consideracionis studia ... '. Bound (perhaps from the first) with two printed works, the Arithmetica of Jordanus Nemorarius, edited by Jacques le Fêvre (Johannes Higman and Wolfgang Hopyl, Paris, 1496), and the Geometria speculatiua of Bradwardine (Paris, 1495).

Manuscript volume, 15th century: De raptu anime Tundali et visione. Pasted to the inside front cover is a full-page colour illustration of Tundal presenting his manuscript to Pope Eugenius, inscribed: Tondali Visione Eugenio Papae Oblata. Folio 1r bears a fragment of another text, in the same hand, as this manuscript was formerly part of a larger manuscript.

The UCL College Archives are comprised of material charting the history of the university, from its establishment in 1826 to the present day. Most of the collection consists of material created in the day-to-day running of the institution and includes records such as foundation deeds and papers, committee minutes, administrative correspondence, department records and reports, early student society/association papers, staff and student files, building plans and maps, artwork and photographs.

Manuscript letters from Mervyn Peake to Graham Greene, 1943-1959 and undated.

Collection of miscellaneous medical material, 1744-1931, including 14 notebooks, comprising anatomical notes taken from a course of Dr John Hunter's lectures in 1774; a commentary, 1857, on Dr Alexander Munro's Osteology; notes by J Talfourd Jones on lectures on medical subjects, 1860-1863; notes on experiments in physiology by E H Starling, 1892; miscellaneous other notes, 1744-c1910 and undated. There are also printed reports of Manchester Public Infirmary and Lunatic Hospital, 1779-1780, 1786-1787, and of Manchester Lying-In Hospital, Salford, 1807-1812 (14 items, including some duplicates); miscellaneous photographs and negatives, 1889-1931 and undated, including some of tourist spots.

The collection consists of Lewin family correspondence, including some copy letters from George Grote; travel diaries of George and Harriet Grote on France, Belgium and Switzerland; and Harriet Grote's journals.

'Elements of statics', a volume written for publication at the proposal of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, though it was never actually published. De Morgan used it as evidence of his work and knowledge when applying for the Mathematics Chair at University College London in 1827.

The collection contains handwritten notebooks and loose typescript papers. Some of the notebooks are entitled 'Electricitat' or 'J.H.Waitz' and are often in German. Some are concerned with the history of electricity. The folders contain loose papers, often correspondence, about student work and exams and societies, in the history of science.

The letters are mostly between Gosset (known as 'Student') and Sir Ronald Aylmer Fisher (1890-1962) who became Professor of Eugenics at University College London. Letters from other scientists are interleaved where they bear on the correspondence.
