Papers of John Henry Sylvester, 1852-1853, comprising a manuscript volume of notes titled Occupation during Studentship at the Royal College of Surgeons, 1852, describing the actitivies of Sylvester whilst he was a Student of Anatomy, including dissections, remounting specimens, listing and cataloguing specimens, reading in the Library, and hospital visits. Sylvester's work is countersigned by Frederic Carpenter Skey, Professor of Anatomy and Surgery from 1852.

Papers of H Frantz, c1930, comprising 10 sepia drawings of specimens of congenital dislocation of the hip, from the Musee Dupuytren, Paris. Most were reproduced by Sir Thomas Fairbank in an article titled "Congenital Dislocation of the Hip", published in the British Journal of Surgery, Volume 17, 1929-1930. The article was the published version of the Lady Jones Lecture delivered by Sir Thomas Fairbank at the University of Liverpool on 28 Feb 1929, when he was President of the British Orthopaedic Association.

The identity of the transcriber is not known.

Papers of Herbert Markant Page, 1890-1891, comprising 5 photographs mounted on board showing figures from an article by Page on a mylacephalous acardiac foetus published in Transactions of the Obstetrical Society, Volume XXXIII, 1891. The figures are of the specimen and placenta, and are titled as follows: "Figure 1) Anterior Lateral (left) view. Omphalosite."; "Figure 2) Anterio Lateral (right) view. Also including a volume titled Descriptive and Illustrated Catalogue of the Physiological Series of Comparative Anatomy contained in the Museum of the Royal College of Surgeons in London: Vol. 1 (1852) presented to Buckland in 1864 by the Council in recognition of his work in identifying the coffin of John Hunter, so that it could be reinterred in Westminster Abbey. Inserted in the volume are letters and other information relating to this event, including rubbings of John Hunter's coffin plate.

The diaries contain references to the weather, movements of the ship, living conditions, and details of patients attended, and include inserted letters and photographs.

Observationes Chirurgicae, containing notes from lectures, published lectures and anatomical demonstrations, on topics including blood, bones, the eye, Catarracts, the ear, and midwifery. Lecturers include Dr Nicholds, Dr Harvey, Mr Sharp, Mr Girl, Mr Fern, Mr Cheselden, Mr John Douglas, Mr Craddock, and Dr Monro. Venues of lectures include St Thomas' and Guys Hospital.

Papers of Robert Horton, early 19th century, comprising a manuscript volume titled Anatomy Notebook, Horton containing notes on subjects such the central nervous system, bones, joints, ligaments, blood vessels, testicles, brain, ear, eye and heart. The volume is undated but there is a watermark of 1818. In addition, on page 103, Horton mentions the discovery of a membrane in the eye by Dr Jacob. Jacobs Membrane, a layer of the retina containing rods and cones was first described in 1819 by Irish Opthalmic surgeon Arthur Jacobs (1790-1874). Therefore the volume can be dated to after 1819, and was probably written in the early 19th century.
