Records of the Angerstein family of Woodlands, Blackheath, and some papers of the Nettleshipp family (Mary Ann Nettleshipp was married to William Angerstein). The personal section consists mainly of settlement deeds and appointments, and other probate and trust matters. There is also some business correspondence, and a few birth, marriage and burial certificates and family pedigrees. In the estate section, the records are divided into three subjects. These are deeds; sale and purchase papers; and management or administration of the estates. The premises are located in Kent, Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and Middlesex.

Records of the Chatterly family, including apprenticeship certificate as waterman and lighterman, admissions to the Company of Watermen and Lightermen, and bill.

Personal papers of painter Andrew Brown Donaldson and his wife Agnes Emily Twining. The main series comprises diaries written jointly by Andrew and Agnes Donaldson. They start on the day of their wedding in June 1872, and end with Andrew's death in 1919, Agnes having died in 1918. The diaries provide a fascinating insight into middle class life in Victorian and Edwardian London, being mainly concerned with domestic matters, with occasional references to external events such as the Boer War, the death of Queen Victoria, and World War One.

The plays and poems appear mainly to have been written by Donaldson for his children. Many of the plays were performed by the family during Christmas and new year festivities.

The collection also contains a small amount of material relating to the Donaldson's third child, Leonard. He pursued a career in the Royal Navy and was ultimately made an admiral.

Records of Sir David Gammans, MP for Hornsey. The records consist of press cuttings stuck into four series of scrapbooks, with the occasional invitation card, menu or photograph included, and a small group of files containing election addresses, typescript articles, and correspondence.

Papers of the Marks family, including apprenticeship indenture as a coach smith and birth, baptism and marriage certificates.

The records deposited include only a small proportion of the total bulk of records, but enough to represent the geographical location of the estates and the types of housing provided. The records consist of three deed books, a property register, ledgers and several plans. The plans particularly relate to developments in Leyton and Canning Town.

Personal papers of Hartley Booth, MP. The majority of the archive is concerned with Hartley Booth's parliamentary career. LMA/4021/01 relates to Booth's parliamentary responsibilities, in particular European affairs. In addition there are files containing correspondence and background material which relate to Private Members' Bills promoted by Booth. LMA/4021/01 also contains subject files on national issues that emanated from constituents' cases.

LMA/4021/02 contains constituents' correspondence and case files as well as subject files relating to local issues. LMA/4021/03 contains Conservative Party material and subject files which relate to the period when Booth was a prospective parliamentary candidate. These files relate to both local and national issues.

As the collection consists of parliamentary and constituency material, there is a closure period of 30 years. There is no closure period on the published material in LMA/4021/04.

Administrative papers including material relating to the incorporation of the companies, correspondence to and from suppliers and clients, and details of products and processes at the Avondale Tannery; financial papers including records of sales and purchases along with accounts from Herst, Leading Leathers and Avondale and credit reports of companies they dealt with; and publications and ephemera including directories on the leather trade and surveys of the shoe industry. Also a short series of samples of leather from Herst Leather Corporation as well as samples from Buenos Aires.

Records of J Lyons and Company Limited and Lyons Tetley Limited, food manufacturers and caterers, W H and F J Horniman and Company Limited and Joseph Tetley and Company, tea merchants, 1849-1978.

This collection contains records relating to all three companies (Horniman, Lyons and Tetley) when they were trading as separate businesses and when they were united under various incarnations of the one "Lyons" name. (They include references to other companies such as Symbol biscuits which Lyons took over in 1944)

However, despite the fact that some corporate records such as minutes have been retained by the Tetley Group Limited the majority of this collection is in fact composed of records relating to the Lyons company (which is necessarily linked with the former due to the fact it was a major competitor for years before taking it over in 1973).

Marketing and publicity aspects are the most heavily represented. As such this is a visually appealing collection and of particular note are the photograph albums and volumes of artwork, product labels and advertisments which are a testiment to the impact tea drinking has had on British society and its way of life.

Records of the Salmon and Gluckstein families, 1890-1963. The records relate to the administrative and financial activities of the Gluckstein and Salmon family 'resource pool'. They are not the records of the individual businesses run by the family. Records include minutes of weekly meetings, income and expenditure ledgers, a salary book, family trees and a series of reference volumes containing copies of important documents and recording decisions taken. There is also a file of accounts for the firm Maxwell and Ponting Ltd.

Records of the Uxbridge Choral Society. The collection consists of minutes, general and concert administration, finance, printed material including programmes and posters and some photographs of rehearsals.

This collection contains records relating to corporate functions, premises, accounts and miscellaneous items, including minutes of Directors' meetings and Shareholders' meetings, file relating to the proposed erection of an extension to the bottling plant and an album of photographs of the opening of the bottling plant in 1951.

Access to the bank's archives is subject to a 45-year rule, with a 70-year rule for specifically personnel records.

These records are still being catalogued and the Archive holds around 75 linear yards of material dating from 1853 which does not appear in the catalogue and for which there is as yet no accurate list. This uncatalogued material is at present unavailable to readers.
