There are also minutes of meetings of three committees: the directors' committee (known also at various times as the depot management committee, the joint managing directors' committee and the group management committee), 1927-85 (ACC/3485/77-124), at which decisions concerning the operation of the business especially at branch level were taken, the committee of the staff life assurance scheme, 1952-8 (ACC/3485/125) and the sealing committee, 1966-8 (ACC/3485/126). Records include day books; bill books; register of accounts; goods received book; wages books and newspaper cuttings and booklet summarizing the history of the firm.

The detailed account books for Trollope and Colls Ltd illustrate the work of a major building firm with a great influence on the London skyline.

The majority of the records presented to Guildhall Library on the liquidation of the Club in 1991/2 (catalogued as Mss 28834-28864) relate to the Club's time at Abchurch Lane. All Victorian records of the Club, excluding the deed of settlement of 1844 (Ms 28834) and a single notice of annual general meeting of 1845 (Ms 28837), appear not to have survived. The records include constitutional documents, minutes, accounts, records of membership, legal papers, photographs and miscellaneous administrative papers.
The Club's archives also include records of Gresham Club Trustees Ltd (Mss 28861-864), formed in 1915 to administer the lease of the premises at 15-17 Abchurch Lane. It was created to deal with all subsequent property transactions entered into by the Club, and enabled to borrow money, where appropriate, on the strength of the Club's property holdings. For a short history of the Club, written in 1943 for its centenary, see Ms 28856. The background papers used for this history have been catalogued as Ms 28857.
Most of the records are subject to a 30 year closure rule.

Sin títuloPapers of Wallace Brothers and Company Limited, East India Merchants, bankers and London agents, later known as Wallace Brothers and Company (Holdings) Limited. Most of the records emanate from the core business of the Wallace Brothers partnership and its successors; but some emanate from the business of associated or subsidiary companies which were based in London. The latter include the records of Wyer and Hawke, London agents of Bombay Company Limited, who operated from the London office of Wallace Brothers between 1912 and 1968.
The archive does not hold the papers of Wallace Brothers' associated or subsidiary companies based overseas. No lists of the papers of these companies are held, and their whereabouts and accessibility are unknown. However the archives transferred to Guildhall from Wallace Brothers' London office include a considerable amount of information about the activities of many of these companies, including numerous copy and original documents sent to London by the companies concerned.
Besides papers created or received in the course of business, the Wallace Brothers archives include some memoirs of partners, directors or members of staff, and notes of research into the history of Wallace Brothers and its associates and subsidiaries.
The business papers date from 1862 to 1989, and relate to all aspects of Wallace Brothers' operations, although few banking records are held, and only formal business records survive from the period ca. 1966-1989.
Access is subject to a 45-year closure period (70 years in the case of personnel records). Annual reports and other published documents are not subject to closure.
