Jalfon was a general merchant, of the Jamaica Coffee House, St Michael's Alley, Cornhill, fl 1807-1820.
These papers were donated to the Manuscripts Section of Guildhall Library in 1961. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
Business papers of merchant Abraham Jalfon, including various accounts, invoices and receipts, accounts of packing charges on bales and cases, and annotated catalogues of sales at East India House of spices and textiles.
