Mr Witold Kay-Korzeniewicz was architect to London Council Council (later Greater London Council) and part-time London University lecturer. He was a prominent town planner in the London area during his working life. He was involved in a number of important building and design projects, such as the Festival of Britain in 1951 and the redevelopment of the area around Saint Paul's Cathedral.

Mr W Kay Korzeniewicz's widow donated his collection of photographs and some working papers to the London Metropolitan Archives in 1995 and 1998.

Papers relating to the work of Witold Kay-Korzeniewicz, including development plans, photographs and reports for Paternoster Square, Saint Paul's Cathedral, Heathrow Airport, Elephant and Castle, King's Cross Station, Saint Pancras Station, South Bank, Festival of Britain, London Underground, Wembley Stadium, Grand Union Canal, and Warren Street Station.
