This company traded as general merchants and shipping agents and was London agent for India General Navigation and Railway Company (CLC/B/123-33). It was part of the Inchcape Group.
Its archives were deposited in the Manuscripts Section of Guildhall Library in 1987-88 by Inchcape Plc together with those of other companies in the group, including India General Navigation and Railway Co. They were catalogued in 1988-9. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
Kilburn, Brown and Company Limited records comprise: partnership deeds and agreement, 1943-59 (Ms 27775-6); accounts, 1938-66 (Ms 27777-81); and correspondence, 1947-60 (Ms 27782).
