Biographical history
The Faculty of Science was originally founded in 1893, and evolved into the Division of Natural Science, which became the Faculty of Natural Science in 1923. The faculty was eventually closed in 1985 and its constituent departments and successors now fall mainly under the School of Physical Sciences and Engineering and the School of Life and Health Sciences.

The faculty was eventually closed in 1985 and its constituent departments and successors now fall mainly under the School of Physical Sciences and Engineering and the School of Life and Health Sciences.
Record cards for BSc (Special) degree students, 1948-1969 (Ref: KA/R/FPC). This series contains students of the Faculty of Natural Science where the BSc (Special) Degree was offered as an alternative to the BSc (General) Degree. Information typically contained on the cards includes name, date of birth, address, session, course, other subjects taken, special subjects, essay titles, terminal results, degree taken, previous education and attached course notes.

Subject to an eighty year closure period from date of leaving, but may be consulted by Registry staff and other College members with permission from the Registry.
Copies, subject to the condition of the original, can be supplied to Registry staff. Requests to publish original material should be submitted to the Director of Archive Services, King's College London.
