King's College London student report books including General Literature and Science registers, 1842-1911, Military and Civil Service Departments, 1849-1856, Engineering students, 1843-1912, Science register, 1903-1912, Science sessional reports, 1917-1921, medical registers, 1849-1885. The later series consists of sessional reports for the Arts Faculty, 1913-1959, Science Faculty, 1921-1969, and all faculties, 1953-1959. Information contained typically includes the careers of individual students and leaving dates.
The registers are grouped according to department and chronologically. The sessional reports are arranged chronologically overall, subdivided into first, second, third and fourth year students, then arranged alphabetically within year groups.
Subject to an eighty year closure period from date of leaving, but may be consulted by Departmental staff and other appropriate College staff with permission from the Registry.
Copies are not normally supplied from the volumes because of their fragile condition.
