Documents from the Radcliffe family papers relating to the Levant Company (1692-1719), which were formerly at Guildhall Library (ie Ms 6642-3), have been transferred to Hertfordshire Record Office, where they have been re-united with the remainder of the Radcliffe papers.
The main archives of the Levant Company (1606-1866) are at the National Archives, classes SP 105 and SP 110. Other items are at the British Library and the Bodleian Library.
See A. C. Wood, A History of the Levant Company (Oxford 1935). A copy of the full Hertfordshire Record Office catalogue of the Radcliffe papers, compiled 1986, and including the manuscripts returned by Guildhall Library together with further material relating to the Levant trade is now held by the Printed Books Section of Guildhall Library at B/R 125.
