Linden Grove Congregational Church was founded in 1858. it ran a Mission on Howbury Road, Camberwell. The church was part of the London Union South East District. It does not appear to have joined the United Reformed Church when the Congregational and Presbyterian Churches merged in 1972; it may have closed before this date.

Deposited August 1964 (Ac/64/48) and March 1965 (Ac/65/24).

Records of Linden Grove Congregational Church, including register of baptisms and marriages, 1908-1949; register of marriages, and counterfoils of certificates issued, 1926-1927; minutes of Deacons' Meetings, 1933-1940; Conveyance for land and mission buildings in Howbury Road, Peckham, 1891; Trust Deed, for land and mission buildings in Howbury Road, Peckham, 1907; sealed order of Charity Commission for sale of land in Linden Grove, Camberwell, and Congregational Chapel thereupon, 1954 and schedule of deeds and documents relating to Linden Grove Congregational Church, 1955.
