This company was established in 1907 in premises at 46A Holborn Viaduct for life, fire and accident insurance. It became a subsidiary of Commercial Union in 1913.

Commercial Union deposited this volume in the Manuscripts Section of Guildhall Library in 1976. Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
