The London Shipping Exchange was based at Billiter Street. It was registered in 1892, but merged with the Baltic Committee and the Baltic Mercantile and Shipping Exchange (later known as the Baltic Exchange) in 1903.

The London Shipping Exchange was based at Billiter Street. It was registered in 1892, but merged with the Baltic Committee and the Baltic Mercantile and Shipping Exchange (later known as the Baltic Exchange) in 1903.
The records were deposited in Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section by the Baltic Exchange in 1994. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
Records of the London Shipping Exchange, including financial accounts such as cash books, ledgers, and registers of shares; letter books; members' registers; and papers concerning the liquidation of the Exchange.
