The records in this series were probably removed from Alment's correspondence as College President before transfer to the Archives.

Correspondence of E A J Alment, papers and background material, 1967-1980, of the RCOG working party on manpower in obstetrics and gynaecology, including survey papers on London, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and papers on the employment of junior staff from overseas and a survey of North East Thames region.
A certain amount of apparently extraneous material has been removed.
No further accruals are expected.
The papers in this series were transferred in a state of very considerable disarray. An attempt was made to discern their underlying organisation and arrange them accordingly.
